FunSeekers Breakfast at Chief O’Neill’s Pub
Join the RVN FunSeekers for a festive breakfast at Chief O’Neill’s Pub and Restaurant, 3471 N. Elston on Saturday, February 21 at 10:30 am. The cost is $5 (plus tax and tip). Audubon School Seeking Donations for Auction Fundraiser
The Audubon Spring Gala Silent Auction Committee is seeking donations for the Spring Gala Silent Auction Fundraiser on Saturday, March 28th. This is the most critical fundraiser of the year, and we need your help. Please email Gala Co-Chair Sara Sladoje at stevesladoje@comcast.net if you would like to donate any item or service, or if you have a suggestion for a donor for us to contact. Friends of Audubon is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization. All donations/gifts made to Friends of Audubon are tax-deductible as allowed by law. For donors to receive full promotional benefits in event materials and publicity, donations should be received by March 1st. Thank you for your generosity.
Here is a list of just some of the possible donatable items:

- Pilates, yoga, massage or salon/spa sessions

RVN Announcements: January 22, 2009
Lincoln Belmont Library 10th Anniversary Celebration Saturday, January 24
The community is cordially invited to celebrate the Lincoln Belmont Library’s 10th Anniversary . Festivities begin at noon with a reception with cake, cookies and beverages. Then at 1:00pm, Kidworks Touring Theatre Company will present Peace Tales Around the World, a multicultural journey to Africa, India, China, Mexico and Native America. The entire event wraps up at 3:00pm. RVN is please to announce that we donated the cake (from Roscoe Village’s own Rudy’s Bakery) to show our appreciation of and support for our community Library.

Guest Speaker at Audubon School
Audubon families and friends are invited to a presentation by nationally recognized educational consultant Dr. Marcia McEvoy on the Prevention of Aggression and Violence in Schools, including preventing bullying and teasing. Dr McEvoy worked with Audubon to craft its violence prevention strategy and completed a full day of training for all Audubon staff in August. Dr. McEvoy will speak at 6:30 in the Audubon Community Room on Monday, Jan 26th. Please enter through the Hamilton doors.
