DESCRIPTION:Let the spring cleaning begin! Our annual Clean and Green Day is coming up on April 27th at 8AM and we need volunteers. \nMeet us outside of Commonwealth Tavern April 27th at 8AM to help clean up the neighborhood! All volunteers will be provided with tools\, clean-up bags and gloves. Volunteers can choose their own areas of the neighborhood or we can assign one to you. This can also count as community service hours for students who need them. Cradles to Crayons is an eco-friendly\, non-profit organization that collects used clothing for local Chicagoland children in need of essentials. All items collected are distributed free of charge and stay in the community to reduce the donors carbon footprint. We are looking for gently-used clothing\, baby sizes to adult medium. So\, if you’re doing some Spring cleaning at home and have items to donate\, you may drop off donations at Commonwealth Tavern\, 2000 W. Roscoe or Leigh Marcus Agency\, 2203 W Roscoe\, Suite #1. Please consider donating items on the list below at Commonwealth Tavern during the Clean and Green Event on 4/27 from 8:00am-12:00pm.
