Every year the Cook County Commission on Women’s Issues awards 18 women from across the County with the Unsung Heroine Award, to recognize women who have either in a professional or volunteer capacity, made significant contributions to their community. Commissioner Degnen is looking for the 12th District heroine and we’d love to hear if you know anyone.
