Retro 2024 Information for Businesses

Retro on Roscoe (Retro) times and dates:
Retro runs from Friday, August 9 through Sunday, August 11. Daily hours are Friday,
5pm-10pm; Saturday and Sunday noon – 10pm.

Retro Location:
In 2024, Retro will run from Damen to Oakley all 3 days (Friday – Sunday). Previously, Retro
ran from Damen to Hoyne on Friday and was expanded overnight to run from Damen to Oakley
on Saturday and Sunday. Due to various factors outside of our control, including city resource
and labor limitations related to the Democratic National Convention (August 19-22), it is no
longer viable to have set-up times on both Friday morning and Friday overnight. As a result, the
entire footprint will be set up at the same time on Friday between Damen and Oakley.

Street Closures:
Roscoe will be closed from Damen to Oakley starting at 4am on Friday, August 9 through
6:00am on Monday, August 12. No parking notices for street closures will be posted with a
minimum of 24-hour notice prior to enforcement. Additional closures will occur on Seeley,
Hoyne, Hamilton, Leavitt, and Bell.

Street closures by address:
Roscoe from 2000 W to 2270 W.
Seeley from 3350 N to 3410 N.
Hoyne from 3350 N to 3410 N.
Hamilton from 3350 N to 3410 N.
Leavitt from 3350 N to 3410 N.
Bell from 3350 N to 3410 N.

Other changes:
Aside from the expanded footprint on Friday, we are reducing the size of the Center Stage at
Hamilton. This stage will focus on family friendly and local entertainment. It will also offer more
seating and a quieter atmosphere. Both the East (Damen) and West (Oakley) Stages will
operate on Friday evening and all three stages will operate on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be a focus on professional artists in the vendor area. We will have a select group of
artists exhibiting near the center stage between Leavitt and Hoyne. The Car Show will remain at
Leavitt.
