Retro on Roscoe wouldn’t be much of a street festival with cars zooming down the middle of the event—and that means street closures. The good news for Roscoe Village residents is that you won’t be driving to the fest, you’ll just be stepping out your front door and strolling to a party that’s the envy of the rest of the city.
In order to accommodate this great neighborhood event, no parking signs have been posted for set up. Please be aware of these postings and do not park your car or it will be towed.
Streets closed from Friday, August 13th at 8 AM to Monday, August 16th at 6 AM:
* Roscoe St. from Damen to Hoyne
* Seeley Ave. from the alley south of Roscoe to the alley north of Roscoe

Retro is RVN’s only fundraiser and its proceeds enable RVN to make financial contributions to Roscoe Village schools, parks, and community organizations. Retro has also made it possible for RVN to improve Roscoe Village streetscapes, paint the bridge on Roscoe Street, install garbage cans throughout the neighborhood, hire a “Clean Team” to pick up trash throughout Roscoe Village on a biweekly basis, partner with other community members to sponsor the Neighborhood on Watch program and install a neighborhood security camera system, sponsor events for our community like the Halloween Parade and Winterfest (along with RVCC), and pay for flowers to be planted throughout Roscoe Village.
