Our biggest event of the year, Retro on Roscoe, is just around the corner (August 11th-13th) and we will be relying heavily on our neighbors to volunteer at the fest. Retro is RVN’s only fundraiser and its proceeds enable RVN to make financial contributions to Roscoe Village schools, parks, and community organizations. Retro has also made it possible for RVN to improve Roscoe Village streetscapes, paint the bridge on Roscoe Street, install garbage cans throughout the neighborhood, hire a “Clean Team” to pick up trash throughout Roscoe Village on a biweekly basis, partner with other community members to sponsor the Neighborhood on Watch program and install a neighborhood security camera system, sponsor events for our community like the Halloween Parade and Winterfest (along with RVCC), and pay for flowers to be planted throughout Roscoe Village. We are expecting 2023 to be AMAZING and we hope you will be there to volunteer and have a great time!

Each year, we rely on a small army of hard-working volunteers to staff the festival, welcoming visitors and making sure the event goes off without a hitch.
